WHAT IS SURVEILLANCE AS A SERVICE?
At Volatus Aerospace, we specialize in scalable, secure “Surveillance as a Service,” managed from our advanced Operations Control Center (OCC). This service can be extended through mobile command vehicles, ensuring flexible and comprehensive surveillance regardless of location. Our integrated surveillance solutions utilize state-of-the-art technologies including RPAS, piloted helicopters, and fixed-wing aircraft, all with the capability to customize with sophisticated sensors such as EO/IR, lidar, and multi-spectral technologies. This extensive setup supports real-time threat management and ensures the highest security levels for all assets.
In response to surveillance activity, several non-lethal deterrent systems can enhance your security measures and response to anomalies identified, discover more about how non-lethal deterrent systems can enhance your security measures.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
How Does It Work? At Volatus Aerospace, our “Surveillance as a Service” utilizes an integrated array of aerial and ground-based technologies to gather intelligence data effectively. Equipped with advanced electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) sensors and a variety of mission-specific sensors, our helicopters, fixed-wing aircraft, and remotely piloted aircraft systems (RPAS or drones) capture critical field data. This can be enhanced with ground-based inputs from radar, cameras, and other sensors, ensuring a comprehensive surveillance network.
Our airborne assets are versatile, operating under varying operational requirements and within regulatory constraints. They can be controlled from our Operations Control Center (OCC), via a mobile command vehicle, by a certified pilot on-site, or monitored through advanced autonomous nesting stations (drone-in-a-box) capable of providing active surveillance 24/7. Each unit is dedicated to a “module”—a specific surveillance area with set coverage and revisit rates, tailored to monitor designated risk levels as directed by our clients. Modules offer flexibility, from on-demand or continuous surveillance at critical sites, to dynamic adjustments as missions evolve.
Each module is patrolled consistently by RPAS or manned aircraft, maintaining scheduled revisits dictated by the security mission. This ensures timely updates and ongoing vigilance.
Centralized within our state-of-the-art OCC, designed for the future of autonomous operations, we have the capacity to manage up to 100 autonomous flights simultaneously.
Intelligence gathered is consolidated on a single spatial awareness platform to identify and track targets of interest, airborne assets, and response teams. This information is securely relayed to the OCC or directly to clients, government agencies, or on-ground response teams, enabling swift and efficient decision-making that enhances security outcomes.
