Collaboration with FAA focused on safety for recreational drone flyers and American public.
NEW YORK – June 22, 2021 – FAA selects Volatus Aerospace to administer the UAS Safety Test (“TRUST”). Drones are rapidly becoming a part of everyday life in America, and Volatus supports the FAA in their efforts to keep everybody safe as they enjoy recreational drone flying.
“We are excited to be a part of this new FAA program to help increase UAS safety across the United States. With the FAA TRUST program, both new and existing recreational pilots must take the course and pass the exam to gain and demonstrate a baseline understanding of airspace, operational and safety guidelines,” said Joseph Scaperrotta, Volatus Aerospace Training & Regional Manager. “A key strength of our organization is training pilots. Whether it is initial education to pass the Part 107 exam, or specialized flight skills or the supply of equipment, cameras or sensors; Volatus is a fully integrated supplier for the UAS industry.”
